I'm bored again. Waiting for 8.30pm to come so i can watch 'Chase'. Its been almost 2 months since school's over. And i have officially rotted for god knows how long.. Its sad that even though i've graduated with a Diploma in Marketing, i can't find any decent marketing job. All that i can find are retailing jobs. I've had enough of retailing. I'm done with fucked up customers who think they are god just because they're slightly richer than some of us. The world is just full of people of this kind.
Yes, u'll be surprised to find out how rude Singaporeans really are when u take up a retailing job. U face 2 types of people. The nice people, and the not nice people. Sad to say, u'll meet more of the latter. Its not as though parents dun teach their kids manners, so why do these kids grow up to be such nasty bitches and bastards who think they rule the world? So wad if u're a paying customer? No doubt u may sae that u're the one paying and therefore u expect good customer service but do allow me to remind u, good customer service does not equate the staff treating u like a god.
I will admit that i have been one of those customers who tend to get impatient when a service staff is slow in delivering their services. BUT! I do recognise their effort thus i will always thank whoever served me. Always. Coz i noe how much a little 'Thank You' can do to brighten up the staff's dae. I've done so many retailing jobs that have made me realise this. All it takes is a little 'Thank You' and i would feel that all the trouble i went through serving that particular customer is worth it.
However, that's not always the case around here. There are tons and tons of rude idiots out there, who act as though the service line people OWE it to them that they have a job. Obviously, these people have not worked at a retailing department before for they would not think that way if they had. Seriously! One will never know what goes behind the scenes of each and every retail or F&B department until he or she personally work in that field. For instance, i would have never known that working in a cafe like starbucks would require staff to be able to identify each and every muffin, cake, pie, sandwich, and bagel by their LOOKS coz these pastries get delivered in the morning, with NO LABELS on them, thus is the the staff's job to learn to recognise these simliar looking pastries, if i haven't had the opportunity to work at Cedele (the horrendous place). Not just that, staff also have to learn how to make the different kinds of coffee available, how to cut a cake PERFECTLY so that it looks edible, how to use the cash register, how to use to the coffee machine, the prices of every single available item on the menu. And please do not forget the fact that these staff are standing on their feet the entire work shift.
So what am i trying to say here u ask. Wad i'm HOPING to get across is, it wouldn't kill u to sae 'thank you' to someone who served u and just because u're a paying customer, while u may have the right to expect good customer service, it doesn't mean that u can put down the service person in any way u like. AND... do remember this point, what comes around goes around.

HeLLo everyone! ahAHa.. I noe i've been missing in action for some time. Not blogging, not answering calls, not returning calls.. Well, i have my reasons ok.
I was BUSY. Busy watching VCDs. =)
See, my youngest sis borrowed the 'Hai Tun Wan Lian Ren' show from her fren. So i spent 2 nights watching the entire show. I am so proud of myself. I managed to finish watching 18 discs in 2 nights.
Some might think its onli 18 discs, how come it seems i went m.i.a for almost a week. ahAHa.. well.....
Ah Fang came over to my place last week and she brought over 7 volumes of "la Bi Xiao Xin' in exchange for some dvds and vcds. So there.... apart from the taiwan serial, i still had to 'conquer' 7 volumes worth of very entertaining cartoon. =) I'm at the 3rd volume now. Still going strong.
SoooOOo.... I'm here to announce... that i wun be available for the next 1 or 2 weeks or so coz i am going to be engaged in a 'La Bi Xiao Xin' cartoon marathon.
As such, i might not be able to return some of ur calls or msges. U guys may leave me a voice mail and if its something important like u wanna treat me to dinner or buy me something, rest assured i WILL return ur calls. =) As for unimportant things like asking for my help or boring chit chat.................... i have onli 2 words for u...: BE PATIENT. =)
That's all for now. I am going back to the TV. I hear Xiao Xin calling me. Dun miss me guys..

Beautfiful Sundae~ Work's been gRrReat this past 2 days. It was definitely easy money, not to mention the wonderful colleagues, the free gifts, free pop corn, the games, the magic shows, the balloons........ if onli work din start sooo early. ahAHha...
Had loads and loads of fun working for the SGH Healthzone roadshow. I must say ahmah and i are damn lucky to be doing to registration and gift redemption. ahAH.. Our station was just right beside the entrance of the health zone, which meant we had air con every now and then when people walked in and out. ahAHa... The rest were out in the open, exposed to the hot sun. ahAHa..
Even though ahmah and i were lucky in terms of location, i think the 2 of us learnt the most things about SGH Health zone and the location of every single redemption counter and the location of the nearest toilet in SGH. *FainTs* Yah, apparently, ours was the onli station which looked the most like an Information Counter. The others were all either games station or pop corn station or food redemption station.
So ahmah and i ended up like some information counter. Every now and then, there will be people coming up to us and ask us where is the toilet, where can u register for the games, where do i get the goodie bag, where can i get the blue cards, is this thing free, when will this roadshow end, wad time is the workshop, how do i sign up for the work shop, do u have anymore free gifts.. etc.etc. During our first day of work, most of our answers to these questions are, 'I'm not very sure, maybe u would like to check with HealthZone.' But by the 2nd dae, ahmah and i had answers to every single question asked. We were 2 live directories. Even some of our colleagues asked us for directions and where to register. Ha.
Nonetheless, i had so much fun working these 2 daes. The money's damn good, the job's damn easy, the working location's damn near my hse. ahAHa..

Ahmah complaints that i'm lazy. So i'm here to blog, and to prove that i'm NOT lazy. I'm NOT lazy. The fact is.. there is nothing for me to blog about! Sian...
Went down to TMC to enquire about their courses and the semesters and wadever shit lah. Stupid ahmah was the one who wanted to go. I was there to accompany her. In the end?? I was the one asking all teh questions. The onli question ahmah asked was,' Do we have to go over to Australia to study in the last year?'
Anywayz.. adding up the total costs for studying a full-time degree at TMC.. I had a shock. A shocking figure of $50,550, if i get 4 exemptions. Where the hell am i going to get that amount of money? Sell backside har!? ahAHA... ROAR!
Starting work tmr. At a roadshow. FOr 2 days. ahAHaha.. But better than nothing. At least i dun have to stay at home the weekend, which decreases the chances of me decomposing from boredom.
See! There's really nothing for me to blog about! I told ahmah the other dae i wanted to do a tribute post to Coca Cola. ahAHa.. But i'm too lazy. However~! I do want to praise the founder / inventor of Coca Cola for his / her brillant invention. ahAha.. Wad would i do without coke? =)
Haiz.. Ahmah's staying over for 2 nights. Which means i cannot hog the entire bed for 2 nights! Stupid ahmah! GO eat shit lah! ahAHa... Chris is sleeping peacefully as though this is her room. Ahmah is on MY bed, reading MY comic book, wearing MY t shirt and shorts. No, they are not paying me to use my 'facilities'. EeEediots.....
Everyone's starting work. Some even got their first pay already. Wad am i doing? I'm still rotting and playing and enjoying my holidaes. I dun understand why is everyone so anxious in looking for a job. We've been studying for the past 13 years!!! Its time we took a break from books and work. I say we all should rot for another 6 months. ahAHah..
Ok.. i really have nothing else to blog about. I'm going to surf porn to look for inspirations. =)

Its been dunno how many donkey months since i last changed my blog skin. People who noe me well enough noe that i get sick of the same old skin very easily, thus the ever-changing skins. I tink my previous skin was probably one of the longest i've used next to my other Jie Lun skins. Even though many expressed that my previous skin was rather nice, i decided i've had enough of it. I had to change the damn skin. The brown is making me sick.
So THERE! Yet another Jie Lun skin! aAHaHA.. But i doubt this one will last long as well, for i have another nice skin which i liked. I've saved the code.. shall see when my interest for this current skin dies off. =)
Supposed to have started work already. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, we had to wait another dunno how many daes/months. Thank god for esther. She managed to find this job at a dunno wad company as an marketing executive for me. Nothing's confirmed yet for i have not even sent my resume to them. But its better than me juz sitting around and wasting my time away. At least now i noe i have a chance of working. And the pay's relatively good. ;)
Stayed at home the entire dae again todae. Did absolutely nothing besides sleeping, eating and watching tv. Woke up at 3.15pm, had lunch, talked to baby for a while, den watch tv from 4pm all the way until 11. Den had supper. And now i'm here blogging. Can my life get anymore boring u ask me? Of course it can! In fact, tmr will just be another boring dae! No family outing tmr coz one clumsy sister of mine sprained her ankle. So i guess we'll all be stuck at home yet again. ArGh!! Can someone juz shoot me?!?! There's nothing nice on Tv and i spent my entire dae facing it. How sad can my life get?!
I was talking to ah fang todae and i told her i wanted to blog but i have nothing to blog about. She told me to blog about how bored i was. Well baby, i've already did dat in my previous post. Maybe i should juz blog about wad i did yesterdae.
Went shopping with baby yesterdae. At Orchard. Again. (Isn't it sad dat even when we have company, its still always the same places we visit?) Anywayz, met ah fang at 12.30pm to have lunch. We spent $19.30 (its a record) at Mos Burger. Den shopped shopped shopped from 1.30 all the way until 5.30. There were soOOo damn many things I wanted to buy but didn't in the end. The both of us tried on soOoOo many clothes til the thought of taking off our tops made us sick. I tink i probably dressed and undressed like... 10 times. Anyway, i onli manged to get (finally) a pair of Havaianas. That was all. 5 hours of shopping and i onli managed to get a pair of flip flops. WTH. And dat was IT.
I've actually managed to summarise my entire dae yesterdae in one short paragraph. Man, i need to increase my vocab. Maybe i should spend my dae reading the dictionary tmr. Maybe dat will keep me occupied for a while. I need to get out of Singapore. Its too boring for me. For now. I've done almost everything i can do this holidae. Swimming, cycling, watching movie, shopping, sleeping, packing my room, trying to book a badminton court, steamboat, chaletS, sleepovers, mahjongs. I tink the onli thing dat i DIDN'T do is sex. Maybe i should just get a bf, have sex and get pregnant. Then i can spend ALL my time taking care of my baby and i wun feel so bored. hMm..
ArGH!! Wadever, i'm juz crapping. Maybe i should just SLEEP.
